Our athletes will be participating in a Inter-High Athletic meet at Edenglen High School on Tuesday, 22 August.
We’re thrilled to announce that our talented learners have once again showcased their brilliance by securing the 8th position in the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) Schools Challenge!
We are thrilled to share some fantastic updates about the District Olympiad for Grade 9 Technology. Among the many schools that took part, we are excited to announce that the coveted 1st place was clinched by none other than the remarkable Mawonga Mzozo!
Mawonga’s exceptional performance has earned him a well-deserved promotion to the Provincial Olympiad, where he will proudly represent our district on a bigger stage. Let’s all rally behind Mawonga as he continues to shine and make us proud! Go for gold, Mawonga
Top Feeder School For Wits University:
Congratulations to Dr. Morgan and Glenvista High staff on winning the award for Top Feeder School For Wits University . This is a great achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in making the school a success.
Receiving this award is a well-deserved recognition of the commitment to excellence that the school has shown. The school has always strived to provide our students with the best possible education and opportunities, and this award is a clear indication that we are on the right track. This recognition is a reflection of the tireless efforts of our educators, administrators, and support staff, as well as the engagement and enthusiasm of our students and families.

Ms. Motseke, one of our Educators here at Glenvista High school, is a finalist in Miss Bachelorette South Africa 2023. The main aim of the pageant is to fight against Gender Based Violence and Femicide. The Finale will be hosted at Gold Reef City on the 22nd of April 2023. Can we please show our support for Ms. Motseke and this honourable cause and vote for her. The voting process is done on the official website www.missbachelorette.co.za
